Introduction

Unlocking digital potential, we bridge gaps in Sri Lanka. Empowering districts through literacy, tech, and innovation for a brighter future.
Together, we’re shaping a tomorrow where equal access to opportunity is not just a dream but a tangible reality, uniting us in the pursuit of a digitally empowered society.

Where Are We Heading?

District Digital Readiness Index

The District Digital Readiness Index is a pivotal tool within our comprehensive regional development strategy. Tailored to the diverse needs of each district, this index enables us to customize strategies effectively. By establishing the Digital Readiness Index (DRI), we prioritize initiatives with precision, ensuring resources are directed where they matter most. With support from the Department of Census and Statistics, this index empowers us to bridge gaps and guide Sri Lanka’s digital transformation on a district-by-district basis.

District Digital Transformation Committee

The District Digital Transformation Committee (DDTC) serves as a crucial catalyst in our mission for effective digital transformation. Comprising local representatives and experts, DDTC addresses the unique requirements of each district. By facilitating collaboration, it bridges the gap between national projects and local needs. This grassroots engagement ensures that digital initiatives align with the distinct priorities of communities, driving a holistic and inclusive transformation across Sri Lanka.

The Learning and Innovation Center

The Learning and Innovation Center (LIC) is a hub of technological empowerment and growth. It fuels startups, innovations, and technology diffusion within regions, while fostering an environment conducive to business advancement through the adoption of new technologies. LIC offers co-working spaces for startups and freelancers, as well as incubation facilities, amplifying the entrepreneurial spirit. With a focus on knowledge mobilization and local industry development, LIC emerges as a self-sustaining engine propelling digital progress across Sri Lanka.
